3rd Literarry letter
Leonardo da Vinci Grade= A
I just finished my 3rd novel. Like last time this is also a biography, of Leonardo da Vinci. This is one of the most interesting and informative novel I have heard so far. It was a very informative to read biography of such a great man. The novel beautifully skims over all the major episodes of his life. Leonardo was a great man, and the following statement describes part of his greatness; “he was born before time”. He was a scientist, astronomer, painter, poet and an important personality who gave a lot to this world.
In the novel Sherwin makes a pilgrimage to his house, where he was born, and where he spent most of his life. This novel briefly tells s how his life was, what major problems did he go though in different stages of his life. The book also includes explanations about the roomers which are spread about him. This novel includes his different theories, saying, predictions and studies. This book stresses more on his anatomy and gives a detail about it. The book also has some advanced (compared to that time) diagrams telling how human body works.
I learned a lot from this novel, not only about his life but also about what factors made him, who he is. I also came to know a little about diverse human psychology, about how people respond in various circumstances. He is a one the best personalities to take inspiration from and for doing some thing great like he did. After finishing this novel i wish there was more to this novel.
Hope my class mates and Mrs Duester will spend some time with this novel.

Awesome Obaid, all of us keep reading fiction books we totally forget about the non-fiction side of the library. Its good that the biography has something else to learn about other than Da Vinci as well. Its a good reminder to all of us that sometimes non-fiction books can be better then a fiction.
Thanks, Musad

So, did reading this book help you with the unit we just finished in World History? I find that sometimes I learn a lot more about history if I read a novel about a particular time period.
Grade: 4/5
